Obviously, the single most useful thing you can do is to Vote. See our master What You Can Do page for more on our feelings about that.
And now for specifics, in general order of increasing time and effort required on your part:
- Donate money to the
National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws
- Donate money to
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition
- Donate money to
Families Against Mandatory Minimums
- Buy a bumper sticker from any of the above and place it on your car
- Find a political candidate that states they are willing to work on abolishing Drug Prohibition and donate money to them
- Write your Congressmen and Senators that you oppose Drug Prohibition and request that they take active measures to cease it
- Find a candidate running for political office that represents your beliefs, and donate time and energy on helping them get elected
No list of What You Can Do will ever be complete, but these should give a nice place to start from.
And in closing, Go Vote!
Best Regards,
M.J. Taylor
