A very nice nose with some nice cherry/blackberry notes. Cherry seems to be predominate. It has a good, deep red color, but not much in the way of viscosity (legs) for a Cab. The cherry/blackberry taste seems to follow through on the palate. It has a good finish, not too much “kick” at the end due to the tannins, and a nice overall balance.
Some more flavor on the taste buds would be nice, but a very good wine otherwise. It might be a bit thin to some, but still good in my book.
Not for use with the young, but few Cabernet Sauvignons are. It’s best used to ply a modestly mature goddess who desires flash if not deep substance.
