Bogle Vineyards 2005 Chenin Blanc
Submitted by bob.bacchus on Fri, 2006-09-22 18:20.
It has some nice viscosity for a Chenin Blanc. It’s a bit light in color but has a nice fresh aroma with some nice fruit notes. I seem to taste more pear than apple with this wine. It has a clean finish and is nicely balanced. It’s not too sweet, something you may not like in a Chenin Blanc, but I find that refreshing. And it’s certainly not as sweet as last week’s wine (Fall Creek). Which is a plus, for me anyway. I keep looking for wines with better floral/fruit notes at these prices. I hope I can find some.
