Copperidge 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon California
Submitted by bob.bacchus on Tue, 2007-01-30 19:57.
The wine has a clear ruby color if a trifle on the pale or shallow side. Your nose might pick out some berry notes but they are faint at best. Those notes fortunately follow through on the palette but it’s delivered with a punch of high acidity and medium to high tannins. This gives the wine poor balance and a lousy finish. It’s drinkable, but just barely. Another year or eighteen months might really help to mellow this wine out. Grade: D+ Price: $5 Copperidge
