It’s a bit of an oddity. This wine strives to be more like a desert wine than a chardonnay. A nice change of pace if you are looking for such a wine. But it’s better suited to sipping than dinner.
It’s a clear, bright light to pale yellow colored wine. There’s not so much berry or fruit aroma notes here as there is caramel (honey) and nutty under notes (almonds), but a very light aroma. There’s a definite lack of acidity, a medium dry sweetness, and soft to non-existent tannins. This gives the wine a good balance and a short finish.
