It’s another colorful bottle (orange this time) from the Luna di Luna people. What it contains is so-so at best ( C ) and might be best when paired with dinner. But my pet peeve with this wine is the white lettering on an orange bottle. How do you read that? With difficulty!
This clear, bright ruby colored wine is about 4 years old, has medium depth and has a little structure to it. There are definite berry main notes with this wine but unfortunately seemingly not much else. It is a moderately dry wine with a pretty good balance, a medium finish and a healthy kick of tannins (still). Nothing special, but it’s not awful either. It would be better with a dinner than standing by itself.
