Nevada Republican Convention Chairman Bob Beers commits Fraud against Ron Paul?

Nevada Republican Convention Chairman Bob Beers unexpectedly announced that the contract on the convention hall had expired and the convention would be reconvened at some future date. The Ron Paul campaign is confident that the Nevada State Republican Party will ensure that the votes cast by of all of the delegates at the April 26th Nevada State Republican Convention will be respected.

Sorry state of the Libertarian Party

"For the first time I saw some of the candidates seeking the LP nomination. If this is as good as they can do they ought to pack up the tent and go home.

The immediate problem is that Libertarians seems to be losing their uniqueness. They are turning [into] Republicans before our very eyes."

The Battle of Milford, The Second American Revolution

The Corporate Candidates decided Ron Paul had to be avoided if he could not eliminated. So they are hiding in an athletic club in Milford, NH, pretending they are not afraid. But they are. The Revolution is coming to Milford.

The Ron Paul Legacy of Freedom: How people will govern themselves.

How will future historians view the Ron Paul Campaign? They will recognize this as the change point, when the people realized they could do it themselves. Ordinary people are creating tools that are changing politics; by so doing they are proving that the people can govern themselves. That was the original vision that brought America into being, watch as ordinary people make that vision a reality.

Get Out of Our House (GOOOH)

Time to Give Congress the Pink Slip?

Eighteen percent. That is the total number of Americans who currently approve of the job Congress is doing, according to an August 2007 Gallup Poll. It’s a significant drop, to say the least, from the 84 percent approval rating Congress received one month after the September 11 tragedy. Americans today are clearly fed up with their elected leaders, yet are doing little to take action and effect change. In fact, in the 2006 mid-term election, nearly 60 percent of Americans didn’t exercise their right to vote.

Latest attempt to stop Ron Paul, Register Now

From the "Anything to keep power" cabal, comes the latest on how to screw Dr. Ron Paul...

Many states, in an effort to shut out Ron Paul are now closing their primaries. That means that only Republicans can vote in the Presidential primaries for a Republican candidate. Many states are doing this quickly and quietly and giving people very little time to learn about the new rules. For example, New Hampshire decided only a week ago that you will now have to change your party affiliation by October 12, 2007 or it will be too late to do so. New Hampshire also has a closed primary and only Republicans and possibly Independents will be allowed to vote for Ron Paul.

Ann Coulter sleeps with Ron Paul?

“Ann Coulter and Ron Paul?” “Ann Coulter supports Ron Paul?” “Ann Coulter sleeps with Ron Paul?” [Okay, I made the last one up :) .]

But, I keep seeing searches hit the site trying to find out information about these two. And, I admit that I can't fathom any sort of relationship existing to tie the two together, but you've got my cat like curiosity (or morbidity?) peaked! I'm having sleepless nights. I'm having to up my Paxil dose. I'm rolling over in my grave. (Well not yet)

As Recess Begins, Spending Spree Continues, by US Rep. Ron Paul

These last few weeks the House has been in a rush to pass spending bills before August recess. In fact, visitors walking the hallways of Congress become immediately struck by the apparent spending battle between the “conservative Democrats” of the so-called “Blue Dog Coalition,” and the Republican Study Committee, or RSC, generally representing the more conservative bloc of Republican House members. Members of each of these groups place large posters on easels outside their offices. The purpose behind this seems clear, to point the finger at the opposite party for the current budget mess that continues to threaten America’s future.

When Republicans had control of the Presidency and both houses of Congress, very little was done to stem the tide of federal spending. In fact, spending increased every year over the past decade. New programs such as “No Child Left Behind,” and entitlements like the Prescription Drug Benefit, were added at great cost to federal taxpayers.

Libertarian Presidential Candidate Steve Kubby Endorses Ron Paul

Fort Bragg, CA -- Citing overwhelming support from his own party's members
and lackluster response to Libertarian presidential campaigns, Steve Kubby
today endorsed US Representative Ron Paul's campaign for the Republican
Party's 2008 presidential nomination. Kubby, a candidate in his own party's
presidential contest, made the endorsement in an interview from his home in
Mendocino County, California.

"I am not, and have never been, a Republican," says Kubby, 60, best known
for his work for cannabis legalization and on behalf of medical marijuana
patients. "For me, the Libertarian Party has always been, and remains, our
last best hope for achieving freedom through the American political process.
And until recently my position was that the Libertarian Party needed to
stick to its own guns, stake out its own territory. But sometimes a special
situation comes along."

You May Be Crazy - But the SEC is still out to get you!

You have always been puzzled about Hedge Funds; you wonder how it always is that you lose money while insiders seem to get richer every day. You wonder but continue to invest. You aren't crazy. They are out to get you.

Leviathan on the Right, by Michael D. Tanner

Consider the following policy proposals that have been floating around Washington in the months leading up to the 2006 election: (a) creating a new cabinet-level federal Department of Families; (b) giving every child $2,000 at birth; (c) having the federal government fund 70,000 new math and science teachers; and (d) requiring every American to purchase health insurance. One might expect that those proposals were made by liberal Democrats, perhaps Ted Kennedy or Hillary Clinton preparing for their Senate majority. In fact, every one of them was made by conservative Republicans. Or consider President George W. Bush. Bush was the first Republican since Eisenhower to run for president without calling for cutting or abolishing a single government program. Since his election, Bush has presided over the largest expansion of government spending since Lyndon Johnson initiated the Great Society. Domestic spending has increased by 27 percent during his presidency. More people now work for the federal government than at any time since the Cold War. Not a single federal program has been eliminated.

At War with Conservative Republicans

Being a Republican since 1953, I believe I am in a good position to analyze the actions of these Conservatives who are running in this decade under an assumed name. More than being just a Republican I have been a supporter of Free Enterprise Capitalism.

When President Richard Nixon proved himself to be less than honest and resigned I began to take a closer look at the GOP. I had cut my teeth on the 1964 Goldwater campaign and became a worker for the cause. Senator Goldwater introduced the term "Conservative" meaning limited government individual freedoms and personal responsibilities. I saw in his campaign a strong view at the 10th Amendment giving the Federal Government authority over only what was designated in the Constitution. It released all the individual states to set their own social laws.

[fRtF] 3/2 - Everybody Supports the Troops, by US Rep. Ron Paul

Hi All,

We managed to secure the re-print rights for a great recent speech by U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. Ron Paul is exploring a 2008 Presidential Bid, and as one of the most libertarian thinking realistic potential Presidential candidates, we invite you to explore his site ( http://www.ronpaulexplore.com/ ) and offer him as much support as you are able.*

In other news, we've received two great comments by G.F. "Hookman" Brown this last week on Toll Road corruption. The first expounds on the method by which the Toll Road Authority can skim money by purposeful overcharges. And then he documents a third party source showing the proof of the overcharging. Corruption in Texas hasn't ever had it this good. See "Challenge Toll Roads and the Trans Texas Corridor" below.

Everybody Supports the Troops, by US Rep. Ron Paul

Instead of questioning who has the best interests of our troops at heart, we should be debating which policy is best for our country. Defensive wars to preserve our liberties, fought only with proper congressional declarations, are legitimate. Casualties under such circumstances still are heartbreaking, but they are understandable. Casualties that occur in undeclared, unnecessary wars, however, are bewildering. Why must so many Americans be killed or hurt in Iraq when our security and our liberty were not threatened?

In reality, support for the status quo (and the president's troop surge) in Iraq means expanding the war to include Syria and Iran. The naval build up in the region, and the proxy war we just fought to take over Somalia, demonstrate the administration's intentions to escalate our current war into something larger.

Challenge Toll Roads and the Trans Texas Corridor

The Citizens of Texas are presented with an unique opportunity to challenge the wisdom of the Trans Texas Corridor and express their concern about the growing obsession with toll roads and public private partnerships.

THIS IS NOT ANOTHER TxDOT HEARING

The subject of this hearing is not limited to TTC-35, TTC-69, or proposed TTC corridor routes or specific toll roads.

Come hear TxDOT defend their policies to our elected officials. And, hear others who seriously question those policies. Add your presence and your voice to the debate.

Come fill the auditorium. All eyes at the Capitol will be focused on this hearing as an indication of public acceptance or opposition. This Senate Committee can have a real impact on the flawed public policy surrounding these projects.
