A nice blue bottle, but with a screw top cap. The wine inside is different than a typical chardonnay you might be looking for. Not a bad wine per se, just a little different.
It’s a clear, bright medium to dark straw yellow wine color, with no real structure to it. It’s a little tough to classify as there seems to be no floral or tree fruit notes, only the vague or faint flavor of herbs. My best guess is cooked green beans or asparagus. It’s not unpleasant, but not perhaps what you might be looking for in a typical chardonnay either. There are no real off notes, the balance is good but the finish seems short. If you are looking for a wine to go with your vegan dinner, this might be a start, otherwise, look further afield.
Mild, tasty, with a nice crisp finish. Save it for use on your more cultured water sprite, wood nymph, or educated human. Kudos to their nose. .
