Ann Coulter sleeps with Ron Paul?

“Ann Coulter and Ron Paul?” “Ann Coulter supports Ron Paul?” “Ann Coulter sleeps with Ron Paul?” [Okay, I made the last one up. ]

But, I keep seeing searches hit the site trying to find out information about these two. And, I admit that I can't fathom any sort of relationship existing to tie the two together, but you've got my cat like curiosity (or morbidity?) peaked! I'm having sleepless nights. I'm having to up my Paxil dose. I'm rolling over in my grave. (Well not yet.)

So, what gives? Anyone know anything definitive to these possible rumors? Has there been some cosmic shift in the universe, whereby these two would even be seen together at the same event? Much less attend the same event?

Spill it! Add a comment with the truth! Tell me!

Inquiring minds truly want to know!

All the best,
MJ

I'm also curious.

I've always liked Anne and I believe she is a free thinker. A possible insight into this is on a movie (I think that's where I saw this) I watched of her, where her conservative poly-sci mentor asked her to explain why it was possible to be a conservative and against the Iraq War. She explained the position which was very similar to Ron Paul's and that probably helped soften my then pro-war views.

They have some stuff in common

For instance, they both have a male sized Adam's Apple.

Plot thickens, Ann does like Ron!

It was something that happened live during the Iowa straw poll results. Just prior to them actually. It was really the tone and look she gave too. I have no idea if the is a video, but this illustrates it well.

Thanks Rightcoast

Thanks Rightcoast,

I linked your link. We like Lew :), but that didn't turn up when I did my initial searching.

If anyone knows of the Video, please add a link!

It's still baffling that Ann would “like” Ron though,

I wouldn't go as far to say

I wouldn't go as far to say that she likes Ron Paul completely. She thinks he's great on domestic policy and the life issue, but he's got this small ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neville_Chamberlain ) Neville Chamberlain issue regarding our military interests abroad.

Ann and Ron

It isn't all that surprising if you know her background:
Ann studied Constitutional Law; Ron Paul bases his entire politics upon the fact that the US Constitution is our fundamental law and was written to LIMIT the power, scope and authority of the federal government. so there.

p.s. Ann should shock the FOX world by announcing her support for Ron Paul, and make the comming out party live on Sean Hannity's neocon program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ann Coulter Ron Paul

There are a large number of malnourished real conservatives that have been wasting away on Rush, Hannity, Levin, O'Reilly, Boortz, and Malkin pablum. In the May 5, 2007 republican debate Ron Paul fell on them like a ton of bricks. And in very short order they came to understand what the term "neocon" actually meant and were unhappy to know that is exactly what they were, or at least had been following.

So, they went searching for answers from all of the above pundits and discovered they were strangely mum. Then as the summer wore on and the internet Ron Paul phenonenom escalated they began to see these same pundits begin to get a little snide and then down right derisive to hysterical toward Dr Paul.

Anyone who has ever read Ann Coulter's Columns or books and relates to her ulta conservative mindset will then have to ask, "Where is Ann on Ron Paul?" and then conclude "she has got to be for him." But the search only pops up blogs like this where someone poses an assinine comment or joke.

Strangely she is hiding out on Dr Paul. Perhaps behind her present mentor Robert Novak. Whom gave Ron Paul his endorsement but in a very tepid and cowardly fashion.

Here is an interesting quote from Woodrow Wilson.

“Since I have entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture are afraid of something. They know there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

The pundits and journalists of the fourth estate are owned. They are in fear for losing their own fame and fortune or just their own personal safety. Bill Mahrer said "Ron Paul is my Hero" and we knew this was true when he said it as a thinking man. Now he too has gone strangely silent.

Baffles me

I am glad you mentioned this. it has been baffling me.Whenever I look through the site statistics I see keyword searches for "Ron Paul and Ann Coulter."

The search engine hits on my site, because a guy made a comment that Ron Paul could never make it with Republicans until he was "in Ann Coutler's good books"

And maybe that is the key. Perhaps these are searches by Republicans who likr the Ron Paul message, but they are unable to jump aboard until they find out if the Neo-con Fembot has given her imprimatur.

~Becky

Neocon fembot?

Although I am very disappointed in Ms Coulters lack of courage pertaining to Ron Paul, calling her a neocon fembot has become a bit of a cliche. I have read her book "Treason" and it is an excellent treatise on how the left rewrote the history of the McCarthy era. Also her book "how to talk to a liberal if you have to" is a pretty good read for analyzing the tactics and illogic of the left. I will say she gets hysterical about evolution toward the end of the book and I had to put it down. But to call her such derisive names is a bit much. She does her homework.

Also most of us Ron Paul supporters didn't get there by "group think" as we discovered Dr Paul on our own. Therefore, we rely on no ones endorsement in order to give ours. If skinny Anne ain't with us to bad for her. It might be a shame she is not, but then it might be a curse if she was.

Unfortunately Neocon fembot fits

Ahh, but unfortunately Neocon fembot fits, no matter how cliché it has become. As, it's reasonably common knowledge she's a paid shill for the cabal behind both Bush puppets.

And Becky's statement about the searches are probably by sheeple Republicans, who like Ron, because he's spouting what is ostensively the party line, turn to Ann, because that is who they've been brainwashed to believe is a trusted source to tell them their opinion.

And, ignore that "Ann sleeps with Ron," as I wouldn't wish sleeping with Ann on my worst enemy.

I suppose you made a louder

I suppose you made a louder point pertaining to the evil cabal but I had already tried to allude to that in my first post with the Wilson quote. So, if she is the ultimate borg fembot, are you saying the cabal is the mind of the collective? Your trekking me out.

I am guilty of writing my first post thinking there were others like me who have left the collective for the Paul camp. Apparently that is not so as this is a very rare thread.

Ann Coultr on ron paul

The republican party has got to be kidding backing Guliani,
or Romney, and neglecting Ron Paul.

Why on God's green earth anyone would be embarrased
about liking Ron Paul, has to have a screw loose somewhere.
Ron Paul is the only true Statesman in the race.

He has never voted to increase taxes. He never votes against the Constitution, he wants a strong National Defense, and a country that has respect for personal liberty and the Bill of Rights. He even returns part
of his budget EVERY YEAR! He has never taken a government paid junket and has never asked for a pay raise.
For 10 terms in Congress.

How could we not back this guy?
I just don't get it.

He is the Founding Father of our day. I am so proud
to be behind him. He speaks elequently and with
much experience and intelligence. Our Country would experience a renissance of the economy and the principles of freedom, heck- the American dream might even become the American reality.

Personally, I would be COMPLETELY embarrassed to admit
being behind Guilianni. The guy is sooo not a conservative. I think he's a joke.
He has little understanding of the Constitution.
He has more baggage, than the average person.
He is completely self absorbed. He makes money of of the
biggest tradgedy ever in America, 9/11.
Personally, I think that if the Republican Party is behind
Rudy, OR Romney, then they must want Hillary Clinton as President.

I'm with Ron Paul. And Proud of it.

Well said.

Well said. This man is a true representative of the people and yet the people scoff. I just don't get it! When the founders wrote the constituiton they were counting on its representatives to have these principles as their foundation. And so in Dr. Paul the people have one representative whose integrity they can trust...unfortunately he doesn't represent my district!

This is why people are

This is why people are looking up Ann Coulter and Ron Paul, t he same way I looked up Ron Paul and Buchannan.. and a lot of other Republicans with Ron Paul. I want to know what THEY think about him.

PS. Pat Buchannan is a supporter! Maybe a running mate? Huh? Huh?

Ann Coulter + Ron Paul

I came here on that search just out of curiousity of what Ann thought of Ron Paul. I like Ron Paul, but I don't care for Ann.

My thoughts on Miss Coulter and the Good Doctor

I've searched and searched and it seems theres not a drop of opinion from her on Mr. Paul. Few can deny that she has a sharp mind despite her warped perspective of reality, but if you ask me, shes a supporter and she knows if she shows it it might actually HURT his campaign. Which is both ironic and positive!

[Really good point Simon! --MJT]

Good point! It probably

Good point! It probably would hurt - kind of like when John Hagee endorsed McCain. Go Ron Paul!!
