Laissez Faire Books Goes Dark

It's a sad day in the libertarian world. Laissez Faire Books has just closed its doors. We here at from Reason to Freedom will miss Kathleen and all she stood for. And she stood for more than most in our incestuous libertarian world. As it's not enough to believe in the libertarian and non-aggression philosophies, one must at least try to make a difference on our fellow mankind; that fascism, communism, collectivism, dictatorships, the right of kings, and all other methods of thieving the rights from people is a crime and should not be accepted. It's bad enough that book sellers across the board are having a hard time selling books, but to see a long term ally, fighting for our culture and fighting for our values that built this county, close, hurts tremendously. And just Damn!, I'm going to miss having an ally in the fight against corruption and and the current big government fascism running rampant in my country. Kathleen Nelson you have my best wishes in whatever you do next and if I in any way may help in your next endeavor, you only have to ask. If you or your writers want an authorship account here, consider it done. This is a Sad Day. Truly I'm sorry that RtF couldn't have done more in support of your endeavors. May you be well, M.J. UPC Exchange has just entered its Crowd Funding stage. Come visit the next best thing since craigslist! The Universal Product Code Exchange (UPC Exchange) website allows people in a local peer-to-peer environment to buy and sell any item with an universal product code label (UPC). In a nutshell: UPCX gives the price advantage of the individual to individual exchange of Craigslist, the ease, structure, and data completeness of Amazon.com, and the convenience of matching buyer with seller of eBay. This will create a much greater chance for a buyer to find a seller and give the seller a significantly higher amount pocketed for their items sold. laissez faire to remain open
It’s official, Laissez Faire Books will not be closing. The International Society for Individual Liberty will be taking over this long-running source for libertarian oriented books. While there will be some period of transition the new Laissez Faire will have a new catalogue available in PDF format by the end of the week. Anyone who wishes to receive the pdf catalogues in the future can do so by emailing laissezfairebooks@gmail.com. ISIL released the following statement:
