Corq Dorq 2004 Chardonnay California

Cork Dork? What’s with these names? It’s not a bad wine, but what a name! And according to their label, a wine for real people.

It’s got a clear, bright, medium to pale straw color, with not a lot of structure to the wine. Your nose won’t seem to detect much in the way of bouquet but your taste buds will find a pretty lively wine with plenty of tree fruits (apple mostly) with a nice balance and a short to medium finish. There are no off notes. This would make a good sipping wine, but not very good dinner wine. There’s not enough acidity to cut through what you are eating. Bon Appetite!

Not so good!
