Trick 2004 Blended Red California

Another “All Hallows Eve” wine (aka Halloween). It is one of a pair of wines, the other being “Treat.” In a word, the wine is unspectacular. Consider “haunting” another wine instead.

It has a clear bright, medium depth garnet color with very little structure to the wine. There are some faint berry notes that follow through onto your palette but little else to really talk about. There aren’t any off notes, but it needs more. There is an OK balance, moderate acidity, and short finish. It’s drinkable, but look elsewhere.

They need to hire a better nose!
