Meridian 2005 Chardonnay Santa Barbara CaliforniaSubmitted by bob.bacchus on Wed, 2007-11-07 18:34.For the price, it’s not a bad drinking wine. It might also be a good choice for a light lunch. This wine has a clear, bright if somewhat light straw-yellow color with little structure to the wine. There are definite tree fruits (apple and pear notes) to the wine, but these don’t seem to follow through onto your palette. There’s some low acidity and tannins as well as a good balance if a short finish. There seems to be no real off notes. Grade: C+ Price: $7 Wine Reviewed: Reply |
