Little Penguin 2005 Merlot Australia

This isn't the best wine in the world, but it could be a lot worse for the price. Good for an evening of debauchery at your local tavern or plying a wood or mountain nymph at home. It's not refined enough for water sprites.

Bacchus speak:
Purple red with a touch of dinginess. It sheets for a good 20 seconds, then develops a few thick legs equally spaced around the glass. Smells nice with definite fruit notes. Somewhat overpowering taste, but it's not unpleasant. The fruit nose carries over to the mouth with no real tannins and a nice balance.
