I agree. Just want to point out one thing, though. The government can't use the gold at Fort Knox, because it amounts only to a few thousand dollars. The only gold on base is in the museum and in the soldiers' mouths. The rest was moved out and sold abroad during the oil shortage of the seventies. So unless the fed is hiding it for their own sick purposes (which is entirely possible) borrowing on gold is impossible. Maybe we could borrow from China! »
