One of a rainbow – and I mean do mean rainbow – of wines from these guys. When all the varieties are all lined up together it makes a rainbow from one end of the spectrum to the other. This one isn’t bad for the price but another year might help it or some aeration.
The wine has a clear, bright deep ruby-violet color (this is after all a 2007 vintage). There are some berry notes for your tongue to discern but precious little for your nose. It’s moderately dry with no off notes, medium tannins, with a acceptable finish and balance. It might be better in a year or two. Better with a beef dinner perhaps than sipping on it’s own.
