Lindy Suze wants to Blow Out Congress

Strung out along the bottom of Tarrant County, just south of Interstate 20 and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex is Texas House District 96.

And Lindy Suze of Mansfield wants it.

At least she wants to be the Libertarian Party candidate for the office. But that will be decided at the county convention on March 13 and the district convention on March 20. Once those hurdles are cleared she will become the LP flag-bearer for her local district in November.

Suze is a member of Blow Out Congress, a group created by Dallas radio talk show host Jeff Bolton dedicated to "Taking Our Country Back One Incumbent at a Time."

Blow Out Congress is “a campaign to get rid of every single person in Congress and replace them with people who care about the Constitution,” she told the Crowley Star in January.

Suze is a Constitutionalist and her message is simple: "Congress is running roughshod over the Constitution."

The mission of Blow Out Congress is "the complete replacement of all 535 members of congress in the next election cycles."

The way to return to a Constitution-based republic, Suze says, is "by getting people into office who won’t vote unconstitutionally."

One unconstitutional overreach she takes aim at is the 23,000 gun laws on the books nationwide, which effectively turns gun ownership into a privilege rather than a right.

Another target in her sights is public education.

“We’ve put the federal government in charge of education,” she said in her Crowley Star interview. “Education is local. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say the federal government can run education."

Suze also embraces the concept of nullification. "Every piece of legislation that violates the constitution and our individual liberty should be immediately nullified," she told the Dallas Libertarian Examiner. "Texas must establish its sovereignty as proclaimed by the tenth amendment."

While her website isn't up yet Suze does have a member page on the Tarrant County Libertarian Meetup Group. And her compadres next door at the Libertarian Party of Dallas County pitched in to make a video for her.
