Franciscan Oakville Estate 2004 Chardonnay

Definite oak tones. Good color for a chard. Pear? Apple? Grape? No major fruit flavor seems to predominate. It has a good finish but no nose to speak of. A nice finish, nothing really harsh. Drinkable, but nothing to write home about.

Fairly smooth start with a nice palet and a finishing kick of the finest vintage turpentine.
