A somewhat uninspiring wine. No legs to speak of and little if any floral/fruit notes even if you open the wine the heck up. It seems to have a body like a Blanc and it needs much more. Frankly I was hoping for more. Little of any floral or fruit notes follow through on the palate. It’s sweet but not cloyingly, so one if it’s few pluses. A step up from Berringer White Zin but just barely. It’s got little or no bite at the end which is nice but expected as this is a white. I’ve had several other Fall Creek wines I’ve liked better. I hope to report on them in the coming months.
I wish it was better. It is after all Texas wine.
Overly sweet grape juice. That gives longing for something much delicate and fairer. Suitable to be drunk with an old Hag. Because at her age, any attention is good attention.
