Time to blow a gasket.
Mr. Goodman, I applaud your expose of the Orwellian No Child Left Behind Act, but, seriously, FOUR years after the fact and just because your kid has just entered High School? What kind of reporter do you wish to present yourself as? If you had been on the band wagon prior to the Act passing, (and yes the knowledge was readily available, but few reporters bothered to "make a big deal" of it) I'd give you kudos and major snaps for having some effect in blocking the passage of the Act.
But four years after the fact, tied to "Oh, no, its MY child now in the grizzly mitt of injustice," leaves this reader a bit under-impressed with your investigative reporting skills.

It's not like the information isn't out there for those that make a marginal effort to find it. But it's highly irritating to have the press so locked down that they either can't do their job, or can't be bothered to do their job.
