RUSH loudly rips the tenets of Fascism and Socialism daily. Moreover, he has been a fairly consistent critic of Bush as well (i.e., education spending, the new tone, immigration, etc.) The reason the joke isn't funny is that, like all good humor, there has to be an element of truth to it.
