[fRtF] 11/3 - Stealing Elections Texas Style and Ain't no lesser of two evils

This week we have two articles sharing the front page. Until the elections are over we will be showing "Stealing Elections Texas Style: Mrs. Blankenship goes out to vote" by The Melinda. Early Wednesday we will be switching the front page to "Ain't no lesser of two evils" by Garry Reed. Both articles deserve more exposure than we can give them.

Stealing Elections Texas Style: Mrs. Blankenship goes out to vote.
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/stealing_elections_texas_style_blankenship.html
What is a woman to do when the X will not stay firmly in the square when it is placed on the Diebold Machine? What did one woman do in Dallas Texas when confronted with the unpleasant truth that votes could be stolen? Mrs. Blankenship might be in her late 70s, but she is still a Texan and she took action so that her vote for Libertarian candidates would be registered.

Ain't no lesser of two evils

Libertarians, especially the anarcho variety, wonder why anyone who truly has values would bother to vote at all. Between the Donkeycrats and the Grand Old Partyarchs there ain't no lesser of two evils. Below are excerpts from one such mass-circulated dreadmail stating the horrors of a Democrat win (each one is reprinted verbatim), followed by what, based on their track record, Republicans would do instead, followed thereafter by the libertarian response to both.

Anne Coulter: Getting rich by destroying freedom for women
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/anne-coulter-getting-rich-by.html
Anne Coulter wears skirts so short you can see her brains. Or you could if she had any. She is the best argument that the foamy-mouthed Right has made for the immediate passage of the long delayed ERA.
Nasty? Yes, and like all humor it arrives at a truth seen but not spoken.
Coulter is the unwoman prime of this generation; the latest and least representative of a species of women who have carried the ball, and presumably the coffee, for an establishment that wants more than anything to deny women the seats they earn at the table of power and their place in deciding for themselves how their lives will be lived.
The ERA is history but it is also the future. Americans assume equality for men and women by an overwhelming percentage.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the media, thank you for attending our politically crafted soundbite-and-posturing Image Management Event today. I will now turn the proceedings over to our Chief Legalcrat, Sue Pantzoff, Commissar of the Department of Dimwitted Lawsuits for the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. Kalifornia has filed suit against the six largest automakers operating in the United States because their dirty cars and trucks are causing global warming."

The Military Commissions Act: Mary Stromberg from Alabama asks a question of educators in her state.
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/military_commissions_mary_stromberg_alabama_educators.html
Mary Stromberg is a grandmother in Alabama who is concerned about what her grandchildren will be learning. Her concerns started when Congress passed the Military Commissions Act and moved her to ask educators in Alabama what children would be told when the Act was signed by Bush on October 17th. Mary and all Americans want to know.
