Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay Australia

Bin 65 Chardonnay has a nice (but thin) straw color with a hit of green. Its “legs” are virtually nonexistent. It tends to sheet, not coalesce when swirled. Plenty of oak tends to greet your nose when drinking this wine with not much to follow up with. It’s got plenty of acidity (and some sweetness) but not much floral or fruit notes to grab your attention. (Citrus – maybe grapefruit or tropical fruit – pineapple). Its acidity will tend to overpower the finish of this wine. And it seems a short finish too. It might be good with the right dish, a chicken/turkey/poultry entrée perhaps, or with appetizers, but probably not for serving by itself.
