An Open Letter to my Federal Representatives

I did not vote for either of you on November 7, 2006. What I saw from your agendas had nothing to do with my appreciation of the Republican Party. I believe the GOP will have to be divided up into several groups rather like the Iraqi Muslims! The method of supporting our agenda, by which we want to come to the same end, is now going in many different directions.

Both of you are familiar with the Goldwater agenda of limited government, individual freedoms and personal responsibilities. You lost these along the way gentlemen, and have aided the GOP to become a drive for moral reform using the U.S. Constitution.

Evidently you believe you were elected to tell us what to do in our personal choices and how to act when we face our own deaths. You want to tell us when we decide not to have any more children that it will soon be illegal to abort a fetus. Our children and grandchildren are not allowed to marry their loved ones. Excuse me, but where did you get these responsibilities?

You were elected to represent District 2 in the Congress and Arizona in the Senate. Nowhere in my copy of the Constitution can I find a single word about your setting a single moral law to guide is through our lives here in Arizona. You both have thrown out your personal opinions on whether you are pro-life or pro-choice and I've never understood why this is necessary except to pander to the religious right who really has no clout in our elections.

We all know that President Bush could not have won had it not been for the campaign promises he made to Falwell and Robertson that he would develop faith-based grants for their use. But did the entire Congress have to follow up with this pandering to a large voter base and virtually change the responsibilities of all the Republicans running for office? Has the GOP lost its agenda to the point where you need the religious lobbyists behind you at every vote you cast when in session?

It has gotten so bad that both of you run solely on the social issues promising your constituents you will tell us exactly what we can and cannot do. Why?

Many States lost their House and Senate members for crossing over into a combination of over enthusiastic social laws and entering into a war with the nation that had never been a threat to America. I'm finding it more difficult to understand this new Republican Party that you represent. I wish you would give some consideration to the fact that many Americans are quite capable of making their own personal decisions. We have been doing this for 230 years but with the election of G.W. Bush, he somehow convinced our legislators and many voters that we needed more guidance. Have you ever considered the fact that you will be building an Inquisition style government to hold over our heads that will develop into a Police State of Federal Laws added to the Constitution?

This will require another level of Federal Control over your constituents and will end up making us all hate the sight of you. That's the way these social laws end up. What will this new level of police action cost us? Oh well, you can hide this in Homeland Security costs and nobody will know it.

Be prepared to discover another Republican Party creeping up on you that will be formed around Goldwater's agenda and will locate some of the old Goldwater people who understand what he worked so hard to bring to our country.

This is just one of several commentaries written to you gentlemen and the next one will expose exactly what the Neoconservatives behind President Bush are planning with your help. You do remember the One World Order, don't you? Stay tuned……
