I ran across this wine at an “in store” wine tasting and just in time for Valentine’s Day. It has a cute little cherub that comes with each bottle. And the wine inside isn’t bad either.
This wine has a nice, clear, bright straw yellow color. It’s a young wine without much structure, and not really much of a nose, but what it lacks there it makes up for in taste. It has some nice fruit notes, (pear/apple?) some moderate sweetness and not a grape juice kind of sweetness either. It’s a bit more complex, as the grape used is the same that is used for champagne. There even seems to be a bit of effervescence, giving the wine a bit of liveliness. It has nice balance and a medium finish. Very likeable.
