Thought of the moment:
Please go sign the SMU petition one way or another. It's time to know if this country supports atrocities and illegal activities, or if it has a backbone enough to stand up and speak out against evil.

SMU: The Battle of Petitions, by The Melinda
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/smu_petitions_battle_referendum_bush.html
At Southern Methodist University the spectre of a George W. Bush Library is awakening Methodists to the horror of living cheek and jowl with someone who endorsed torture. This has brought on line petitions that allow Methodists - and all Americans to speak their minds in plain sight, rendering an effective referendum on the Bush presidency.

Requiem for a Nation, or a Call to Rebirth?, by The Melinda
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/requiem_for_a_nation_or_a_call_to_rebirth.htm
The NeoCons got a drubbing at the Republican State Convention in Arzona recently. McCain is angry that they have lost control to the real Republicans. Goody. A friend from AZ sent me the link. Great read. Melinda Pillsbury-Foster

The Collapse of Political Correctness, by Garry Reed
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/CollapseOfPC.html
The lawlessness, looting, loss of civility and disintegration of civil society have all been documented day by day ad nauseam in the wake of the wake that washed over the Crescent City and transformed it into a virulent Venice of the South.
What has gone grievously underreported, however, is the shocking collapse of Political Correctness that threatens to shred our civilization.

NIX ON Bush: Take Back the Republican Party, Install Ron Paul, by The Melinda
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/nix_on_bush_install_ron_paul.html
When Nixon starts to look warm and fuzzy and kindly you know you have a problem. it is time that all Americans, but particularly Republicans asked, first politely, and then took action to vacate the White House. We have a better idea, and that is swearing in President Paul, a man the Right and Left in America all know they can trust.
Playing the I Won't Run game, by Garry Reed
http://www.reasontofreedom.com/playing_the_i_wont_run_game.html
Anyone can hog headlines by running for president. John Kerry is merely the latest master media manipulator to do so by announcing that he's not. Senate Majority Leadercrat Bill Frist not only rejected a 2008 bid for the White House, but is also retiring from politics altogether after serving 12 years as promised. The announcement stunned libertarians who noted that Frist actually served 12 years in the Senate after pledging to serve no more than 12 years in the Senate. Still, others have pointed out that the Tennessee pol remains under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for insider trading. Rumors persist that Martha Stewart's old bunk is still available.
