Marquee 2004 Cabernet-Merlot Australia

Another “find” at the tasting counter of a local grocery store. It’s nicely drinkable, by itself or with a dinner.

The wine has a clear, bright violet color with some blackberry/berry notes. The notes follow through from your nose to palette. It has some moderate acidity and some tannins at the end but even with that, it has a nice balance and a medium finish.

Grade: B Price: $12
