At War with Conservative Republicans

Being a Republican since 1953, I believe I am in a good position to analyze the actions of these Conservatives who are running in this decade under an assumed name. More than being just a Republican I have been a supporter of Free Enterprise Capitalism.

When President Richard Nixon proved himself to be less than honest and resigned I began to take a closer look at the GOP. I had cut my teeth on the 1964 Goldwater campaign and became a worker for the cause. Senator Goldwater introduced the term "Conservative" meaning limited government individual freedoms and personal responsibilities. I saw in his campaign a strong view at the 10th Amendment giving the Federal Government authority over only what was designated in the Constitution. It released all the individual states to set their own social laws.

If there had been dirty doings in the GOP before Nixon I did not know it. I had known the Reagans through the Goldwater years and worked for him for Governor of California. He wasn't perfect but he did stand tall for individual freedoms and that is half the battle when dealing with an intrusive federal government.

In my mind Bush/Clinton/Bush were all phonies out to redesign our nation into something it was not supposed to be. A one world order? An American Empire and a police force to control all the other nations (who had oil)? No! Absolutely not! America was and is a unique nation based on a Constitution with clear cut freedoms for all American Citizens.

Even the Democrats got the message and civil rights for minorities and women became part of their agenda. They did want a larger government which touched on Socialism with their desire to redistribute our wealth through taxation. They also wanted more control over the academic curriculum of our public schools and that did not interest me at all.

Since 2000 what on earth got into the GOP? I listened to all the holy stuff the GOP candidates pontificated about and thought they were foolish to waste time on religion when we obviously had a problem in the Middle East. Apparently the new POTUS did not know about this problem and continued to write up programs to prohibit gay marriages, abortions, stem cell research and the right to die with dignity. The White House was either out to lunch or deliberately ignoring the problems in Afghanistan and Iraq, not to mention Iran and Israel.

So while the Middle East was seething under having our troops on their holy ground, the Bush Administration was setting rules for the Conservatives who would be running for Congress in 2002, 2004, 2006 and forever thereafter. All candidates had to carry the pro-life label. Nothing else mattered! This was the Conservative party of the future and that was the end of it. I began to take a closer look and found a level of corruption starting in the White House and going all the way down through and including Congress. I began to question the ethics of the Conservatives including their commentators and writers. One hour of Fox News was enough to cleanse me of the arrogance of their reporting. They were laughing and sneering at the American people.

It didn't stop with the television and magazines featuring writers who had earned their stripes in the GOP. But what they were reporting was insulting to all Americans. Bush must be protected at all costs and anyone questioning his lies and manipulations were silly stupid insane Liberals. I've carried that load of names all over the internet. I would come back and ask them if their Christians roots didn't demand the truth? Oh, I became the daughter of Lucifer! Before I was thrown out of NewsMax I was the Whore of Babylon. Remember these were people I had worked side by side with for years. When did they become people who could not see the truth or recognize the evil in the White House?

In 2007 the people became aware of this ugly Conservative movement and tossed many out on their Republican butts. My party was officially dead and there was no hope for real Republican Conservative moment in the future as the whole thing was filled with angry religious fools who finally had to realize they were not wanted.

I read a commentary this morning written by a very close friend and his comments about what the American people wanted were so insulting and cheap that I literally broke down in tears. If the Conservatives can't win in the elections then all Americans are to be criticized as fools. Well, I'm going to fight back!
