Ok, I’ll be the first to tell you this is a REALLY cheap wine. I got it on sale for $3.00. Still, it’s not a really bad choice for the price. And not your typical Cab.
It’s got a nice but pale ruby color and let’s face it, not a whole lot of structure. There are berry notes to be had with some cherry under notes and maybe some vanilla beneath that. It has some surprising sweetness (not a lot but not typically found in a Cab). Tannins and acidity seems pretty low and tends to give a somewhat balanced wine and short finish. It’s surprising drinkable but all aspects seem to be come up short, fullness of taste, etc.
Grade: C+ Price: $3 (you might find it for $5)
