I’ll admit drinking Roses’ are not on high on my list. And this one seems to be a typical Rose’ to me.
It has a bright, clear yellow-pink color with very little structure to the wine. It’s not too sweet and moderately astringent with some muted berry notes. There are no strong off notes with an OK balance and a short finish. You could do worse. Silenus seems to be more loquacious than usual on this one.
If you are drinking with the girls, bring this. It has a fuller flavor than the usual fruity swill the fairer sex enjoys. But even water sprites won’t drink roses or blushes so stick with human prey.
