Russo, as the presidential candidate, will be able to achieve significantly greater short and long term benefits for the Libertarian party. Badnarik has valuable messages to present and Badnarik becoming Russo’s vice presidential candidate can best serve the party. This way both the tremendously greater media exposure from Russo and the constitutional messages of Badnarik can be achieved to jointly benefit the party.
In this vein, please copy and paste the below into your email client and send it to Badnarik.

Subject: Please Step down for Russo
Dear Michael Badnarik:
In light of your stated view that winning the presidential nomination of the Libertarian Party is "not what you intended" and in consideration of the overwhelming likelihood an Aaron Russo campaign would:
- break through the media barrier
- raise millions of dollars
- generate millions of votes
I am asking that you bow out of the LP presidential candidacy and allow Aaron Russo, through default, to become the LP presidential candidate.
Please understand this request in no way diminishes your character or virtue, which are manifest, rather it recognizes the hard fact that of all the candidates presented to us in Atlanta, only Aaron has the mastery of visual media to make an LP presidential candidacy real to the American people. Please do what is best for the party and for the cause of liberty.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
[Your City and State]
It’s your party and unless you speak up it’s going to languish in the backwaters for the next four years.
And on this same note, I'm going to slightly augment what Logan asks about supporting the LP party. I'll give the rational first, as it will seem an odd request. The rational is; the presidential candidacy for the Libertarian Party is toast for this election season and the available time, energy, and money that each of us have to donate to the LP is a finite resource. So, the request is, to make your limited resources more effective by making most, if not all, of your donations to local LP organizations and candidates. Please don't reduce your donations (I'm increasing mine this year), just place them where they can do some good.
Best Regards,
M.J. Taylor
