The worst I’ve tasted tonight. It’s another problematical wine from Argentina. I don’t have a clue what the “Wine Bible” has to say about the region. Hopefully, it’s not “and up and coming region.”
It’s got a clear, bright ruby-violet color but with not a lot of structure attached to it. There are some nice berry notes and some moderate astringency to the wine, but it’s biggest problem is a harshness or bitterness at the end. This throws off the balance and finish and just leaves you wanting less not more. And it’s doubtful more time in the bottle will fix this problem.
Bitter. Nasty. Please, Zeus do not encumber us with this swill again….
