It's only a matter of time before every human being within reach of America's Brave New World will be implanted with a satellite-tracked ID chip.
"Americans have already implanted the chips into one million of their pets," Mac Slavo writes in "Coming Soon: Computer Chip Implants for Human Tracking," then points out, "And what are we as citizens if not pets of the government?"
Chips for humans are already here. They're the size of a grain of rice and can easily be implanted under the skin with a syringe.
Compulsory human chipping will be accomplished as every other rights violation has been accomplished. First it will be voluntary, then slowly evolve into publicly acceptable, then morph into near necessity, then ease into inescapably pervasive like the original "Not for Identification" SS cards, and then slip into mandatory, implanted at birth.

It will be done for our own good. For the safety of children. To fight terrorism. To track lawbreakers. To qualify for government "benefits" like Social Security and Medicare and Obamacare. For proof of citizenship for employment. For military service and voting. To enter any place controlled by government security now and in the future such as airplanes and trains and buses and highways and sporting events and schools and hospitals and libraries and big box superstores and life in general.
Cops won't ask for your ID. They'll simply scan your chip.
You and your GPS chip will pass remotely monitored scanners everywhere you go in public just as you now pass traffic and security cameras. The data will go into computers to be extracted any time in the future for whatever reason some government bureaubozo wants it.
Implants will be perverted in the future into uses we can't even imagine today. Food and clothing rationing? Federal housing for everyone? End of life scheduling?
The only saving grace for future libertarians will be the burgeoning black market for counterfeit chips and chips that block the government scanners.
Think this is all hyperbole? We already live in a police state where cops at sobriety checkpoints can extract your blood without your consent.
Sheila Dean, Special Correspondent to the Libertarian News Examiner on national ID and surveillance issues, will keep you up to date on human chipping, Real ID, E-Verify, TSA and all things police state at her website Beat the Chip and her podcast Waking Up Orwell.
