Hogue Genesis 2005 Merlot

The wine has good color and a slight berry note can be had with the fruitiness (berry) following through to your palette. Unfortunately there is also plenty of acidity and tannins that throw off the balance. Another way to go is Corq Dorq 2005 Merlot. You might like that one better.
