Why do so many of our teens and young adults hate America?

This question caused me to do some research about why we now have so many people who hate our federal government and President Bush in particular?

Part of growing up is finding ones own place in the world and part of doing this is to try to prove our parents may be wrong. I know I certainly had my own revolution starting when I was 12 years old. In the world of a preteen, the laws of the family were laid down in concrete but that was in the 40s. I could revolt till the cows came home but I could not argue with the family laws as they were a given. This began when I was first delivered to my grandparents for raising. I had to revolt on another level and chose to skipping school. I loved school and was a pretty good student but when a gym teacher had another teacher fired, I did my first protest! It didn't work and I gathered many demerits. Turned out the school laws were also cast in cement. Oh my!

Let's jump 60 years and we find that the family laws are not firmly set, and in too many families don't even exist. Parents today want to make friends with their kids and leave the rules up to the federal government. Please read that sentence again and see exactly where I'm headed.

Good old Christian Conservatives want their laws to come from Washington DC making the government the enemy! They can then sit their kids down and explain why drugs, abortion, prostitution, smoking, gambling are wrong, but not to worry, the government will outlaw these things!

These people never met a law they didn't love. Their agenda is filled with Ashcroft's laws of survival; yeah, follow him and don't bother to think about anything. I actually believe this is the most dangerous action our federal government ever came up with and should be stopped immediately. Remove all social issues out of the government immediately and force the parents to be parents!

The teachers in their schools, who have wanted a federal program to oversee all the children (remember the village crap) will continue to teach that the government is the source of our culture, morals, laws, social decisions leaving the parents the job of feeding and clothing their spoiled children. The Unionize Education Establishment want more authority from the government and less from the parents. The parents seem to like this idea and they can watch more television.

It's simple. The Federal Government is the enemy! President Bush wants more social laws set in cement from Washington DC and the kids of America are bashing the hell out of this entire federal group for trying to tell them what to do. The cowardly parents just keep shrugging this off with comments like "it must be the music or films" without a single look in the mirror of where this problem really can be found.

The American family unit is filled with weekend camping, heading for the beach and theme parks but their children have little respect for the family as a unit. Fathers don't exist. Oh sure, they come home at night and pay the bills, but they have little input in the character building of their children. They look at their little girls with love but not a word of warning about charlatans who will seduce them into following the cults that are all over the place. These little girls are taught to be obedient and not question the words of the church leaders. Along comes Charlie who claimed to be Jesus, Jim Jones who claimed to save them for God and of course David Koresh and this Mitchell guy who marry their little girls spiritually.

Our little girls need a father image that has the nerve to explain why their daughters should NOT follow these leaders no matter who they say they are. Fathers are missing in action when it comes to raising their girl children. Boys play sports and little girls get seduced. Oh my, call your Congressman and have them make laws to do something about this girl thing!

Everyone is screaming that Elizabeth was brain-washed. In my book she was brain washed long before she was seduced by that dirty man. She was taught to bow to the men in her family and especially the Mormon leaders in her ward. Not a single thought on her self-survival or individual character development from her family. Love and prayers did nothing for Elizabeth just for the family.

Now, of course the House of Representatives will be called in to fix this problem. I want to stamp my feet and scream for the parents to wake the hell up and give their children the rules of the home! Not the House of Representatives!!!

Our children will rebel! They can't at home because there is nothing to rebel against. They can't rebel at school because there are few behavior rules. Sure, some bring in guns and shoot the place up but the final rebellion will be towards the federal government and the Administration in power. We have teens now joining up with the militia groups. At last they have found a gang!

The Mosques that are opening daily throughout America are just looking for wayward children with no parental authority and they are welcoming them with open arms. Their religious classes are filled with boot-camp training for both girls and boys and the kids love it! Strict rules! Finally behavior standards are issued! Training in weapons and bombs taught! Their classes are filled explaining that Americans are weak, money-grabbing immoral masses of evil; and it is working. The kids are not only buying it but are training to be terrorists.

How do we stop this assault on our kids? How about laying down the rules of the house firmly before they turn into rebels of mass destruction?

How about turning off the television during that one hour where everyone is assembled at the dinner table and making good use of it. If this is done when the child is 2 years old and the rules are consistent, rational and debatable it will work! Write those rules down and post them near the dinner table. Discuss them with every member of the family and enforce them!

Sit on your schools and demand they follow behavior standards, even if it means having the parents write them up and present them to the Administration for classroom rules. Send a copy of the family home rules and demand the schools implement them too.

Demand good sportsmanship rules for the weekend soccer games! Scout meetings, camp outs, trips to Disneyland and 24/7 until the children can prove they are responsible, independent individuals.

Parents should become parents and knock off the "friends" attitude. Home laws established and get out of the federal government for your back up.

I realize that many protesters who claim to be anti-American are not kids but I guarantee they were kids in the 60s when they learned their demonstration skills. We even have private colleges that teach the art of protest. They are financed by the Green movement and they too are very effective. Again where are the parents when they send them to these expensive schools? Anything to get them out of the house and tell their neighbors that their kids are away at college without a single thought as to what they are learning.

We are on the verge of a possible WW3 and I wonder how many of us will be done in by our neighbor's kids? Every city in America is filled with irate and out-of-control young adults who are now armed and dangerous. Not one of them has a single concept of right vs wrong. Family, schools and churches over looked a few things when they were youngsters.

Don't disarm these kids, train them from birth who the enemy is and they should always support the family unit under the control of the parents. I certainly would not allow a child to attend church unless I knew exactly what the pastors were teaching the kids.
