I am also a military veteran and I married a fillippina and she deserted after 8 years and she has a good job as a nurse and i m on unemployment and she was able to get a divorce after deserting me 4 none other reason she wasnt happy financialy. I m now forced to leave this home we were joint title on n thbe middle of winter because of the stinking family court system. I have a beautiful kenyan lady who wants to marry me once i get to kenya but when i get there m never coming back. So go to africa, good men r still respected there not to mention very pretty women as well.

The world is full of great people in little countries such as most of Central America, where you can live a healthy, prosperous, and fulfilling life without Uncle Sam breathing down your neck. All the fear mongering about filing taxes and such is BS. There are millions of us that have left, return regulary to see family and friends, and have never filed tax returns or paid any attention to the IRS. They operate on spreading fear and have no legitimate legal basis for their activities. Forget trying to battle them in court because you cannot win, but if you are discrete and private about your affairs, no one needs to bother you. You have a natural right to your own property, and just because you carry a US passport doesn't mean the tyrants own you. If enough people would stand up to them, they wouldn't have any power over you.

I agree with your sentiments. It is not hard to see that the demise of the USA has been long planned by those that wish to complete the global control that is so obviously in play.

We live on a small island which was self sufficient just 25 years ago before the system was changed. It will be self sufficient again and whats more it's in the south western Caribbean nicely sheltered and near enough to the mainland that even if gasoline is not available a quick trip by sailing boat is possible (I have seen someone make the trip in a wooden canoe!)

If you have to live hand to mouth it is better to do it somewhere pleasant.

i agree with you america is no more the free country it was supposed to be than greenland is green. how can a country that has more laws than a numerous amount of countries combined, that locks up more of its own citizens than ANY country in the world, be a free country? think about the laws and regulations of this country and ask yourself, "how many of these laws have actual victims?". if your son braks out a window when he's 8 yrs old, you pay for the window, no one was hurt, now same scenario, but your kid is 18, he's probably going to have to pay for the window along with jail time, additional fines, probation. now that your kid is on probation, he has a drink of alcohol, he's walking home, a cop stops him for, whatever, he now faces brutal fines, a significant prison sentence, more probation and court ordered classes for alcoholics. now think about what your kid has done and think about the victims of his "crimes". bottom line his punishments are vast and his victims are none, how free has he been in america? this country is based on freedom but preaches law and regulation, its that your free to do whatever you want, but there is law, fine, and way to control your life (probation) for whatever you do, is this freedom?

I never been to jail or anything but I have been harassed by the police with tickets.Its sounds stupid but I have a suspended license with over 3000 grand of tickets that I cant pay for.They are robbing ameicans everyday and people just sit back and let them do it.

I am right there with you. I have had it with the crap in this country. My biggest worry is my kids and grandson. I plan on leaving and making a place they can run to if they choose to. I don't have your education but I am making money with internet marketing and that will get me the funds I need to search for a place not influenced by the US. You sound and have very good reasons to be pissed off. Yes, you are right that every US/EU government institution just about has been bought and paid for and with tax payers money. I have been to over eighty countries and can possibly give you some pointers. Forget Europe and most of Asia if you think your money is safe there, even the Swiss have now opened all US owned bank accounts to the IRS. If you speak Spanish some South American countries are possibilities. Australia and New Zealand are copying European repressive laws.
The freedoms and rights the US citizens had are melting away. The coming economic collapse will assuredly be accompanied by a big war in the northern hemisphere, probably nuclear.

I stumbled on this website by accident while searching on leaving the United States. My friends, I am taking my family out off of this sinking ship. I own a home that's value will never increase. I live in New Jersey and read articles that say that with the current glut of foreclosures and the procedural barriers to expedite the process, it will take at the current rate, 50 years to clear the foreclosure market. I will be 92. I pay a high rate in property taxes to which 75% goes to state education that we have been told is the best in the country. I find this hard to believe when my 13 year old son's US history book has Bill Clinton as the current president. I am a union worker whose contract will not be renewed. People are asked to do more for less. I see it every day. Listen to what they say. They talk about all this debt. Who owns it? Money doesn't disappear it changes hands. That myth that China holds the majority of US debt is what they spew to keep you scared. Japan holds more debt. We pump more and more money into defense to scare every other country off. The future wars will be fought not with guns but with currency. The United States is already vanquished.

While I had my marriage terminated (a/k/a divorce), I am no longer a part of this society as you are. I also consider this country to be corrupt in the moral as well as financial sense. This society destroys families and I wish I could leave it. I am also not a nut case but a professional. We area family from New Zealand, and everyone around us seem to be moving to Ozzie. But we love it here in NZ, Prices are going up, Rent, Food and petrol, but couldnt leave here. I hear from people over seas that its not all that cracked up to be. Over in ozzie you need medical insurances, not like here. So what im kind of saying is move over here in littlew old New Zealand, cant hurt to try it out. And even better, you can just move and theres no you cant, anyone can move here, and even jump on a benefit from the government...hows that.
