Overall, it’s a pretty tasty wine given the price. Some extra time in the bottle or on the shelf might help this wine.
It’s a clear, bright ruby color wine with plenty of berry notes with moderate tannins. It’s a dry wine (but not too much) and there’s some lively acidity too. Better perhaps for dinner than just sipping but just barely in my book. It’s got something of a “raw” taste that makes me think some extra shelf time might help.
Neutral and balanced. Good for a woman who likes Reds. Serve this to your more experienced wood nymph.
