SEAL spills beans on Osama raid, labeled 'traitor'

It didn't take long for big government worshippers to condemn "Mark Owen" (nom de plume for US Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette) as a "traitor" for telling his fellow Americans the truth about what actually happened during the Osama bin laden raid in his just-released book, "No Easy Day."

Libertarians aren't surprised that the story told by a participant in the raid is very different from what the Obama Administration's fiction writers spoon fed the world via their pet mockingbirds in the mainsleaze media.

Among other political-media falsehoods Bissonnette/Owen reports "SEALs weren't fired upon while they were outside the gate of the compound. There was no 40-minute firefight. And it wasn't true that bin Laden had 'time to look into our eyes.'"

Bissonnette, like Daniel Ellsberg who revealed ugly truths about Vietnam, Bradley Manning who disclosed the nasty realities of American actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Julian Assange, whose Wikileaks operation outed multiple duplicities about our ruling caste's far-flung empire-building, deserve to be thanked by all responsible Americans.

These people are heroes to libertarians.

But Ellsberg barely escaped prison. Manning is being outrageously persecuted for his truth-telling. Assange is being held hostage by world leaders as Enemy Number One for pulling back the ruling class curtain of deceit.

Yet people typified by the aphorism "This is your brain on big government" see truth-tellers as traitors.

Some reader comments from the Huffington Post article:

"traitorous trash"
"'Matt Owens" – traitor
Matt Bissonette - American traitor.
The word Traitor comes to mind.
Traitor!!!!

The definition for "traitor" by people who exhibit this type of brain activity:

Traitor (n) Any person of integrity who has the guts to tell American citizens the truth about their sociopathic government rulers.

Some of their synonyms for truth-tellers:

Benedict Arnold, Judas, betrayer, back-stabber, double-crosser.

Apparently, then, big government worshippers who cry "Traitor!" and despise people for popping their fantasy bubbles about the ruling class desperately wish to remain ignorant.

They thirst for the Kool-Aid. They crave the blue pill. They desperately seek out the ostrich-hole in the sand.

Quixotically, they seem not to want their psychopathic lying politicians to be held accountable for their lies even as they demand honesty from everyone else.

They still seem not to get it even when the lying politicians themselves focus all their own attention on rooting out the leakers rather than owning up to their lies.

"Traitor-Criers" are strange people indeed.
