Sit Down, Dr. King. I Have A Dream Too

The war on terrorism started a debate on a forum this week and about half the readers agreed with President Bush that we must eliminate the terrorist throughout the world and the other half don't like his approach to ridding America of the chance of more terrorists arriving on our borders. Sadly many couldn't see the need for actions on both fronts.

We all agreed that immigration laws should be enforced and possibly rewritten to control the potential Muslims from entering America under false premises. The world will shudder and scream that this is against the constitution and a bigoted anti-religious action. Nonsense! When was the last time a group of Presbyterians from Scotland became terrorists and wanted to take over America? Or Catholics from Italy? We aren't discussing religious persecution but confirmed terrorists!

Every single terrorist that has attacked our country starting with the first attack on the twin towers has been a Muslim! This does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists and for that reason I am suggesting that the Muslims of America stand up and pledge their allegiance to the American Constitution. If they cannot or will not do this, ask them to leave the country. Actually I believe they should be deported.

Let's look at the Muslims in general:

How can we possibly know if these Muslims are citizens or involved in anti-American subversive plans? Well, what the hell are we paying the CIA and Immigration and Naturalization Services for? This is all they are supposed to do! Neither organization has earned their keep for 20 years.

Our borders should be closed immediately! Profiling the offending Muslims should be started at once! Oh yes, I can hear all the whining of civil rights being thrown around here but will someone please explain where, on the priority list of civil rights, are American citizens found?

Let's look at America in general:

We are not a Christian nation! We are a nation of free people whose roots are world wide! Being an America is not a matter of opinion but is based on the firm law found in the Constitution. It is cast in stone folks and not negotiable! We have strong laws dealing with terrorism along with laws on how to elect our officials, how to abide by the current laws found in the Bill of Rights. Our colleges are now teaching that this is not the case. The laws of the Constitution are scaring the universities for being too Pro-American for their students. Can you imagine our schools are actually teaching the virtues of communism, socialism, and how to destroy the very freedoms that America is based on!

They are doing this and I will never understand the reason behind it. Could they be a force to remove the Constitution from our country? Why? American Universities are screaming for a redistribution of wealth instead of teaching the students how to make their fortunes. They are teaching that there is only a set amount of wealth and in order for one person to make a killing; it must be taken from another. Nonsense!

They should be teaching the economics of supply and demand and of course that old stand by laissez-faire capitalism! Bring on the entrepreneurs and let them be free to develop new technologies and everyone has a chance at making a fortune. This may sound silly today in 2002, but it was what we were taught back in the 50s!

This is evil thinking folks, and the Universities will not teach the very spirit that America has been known for in 220 plus years. So how do we return to this American dream?

Federal Government responsibilities:

The Federal Government should make this country free from all invasions from any country who threatens us, Muslim or not. To look away from the Muslim terrorist because it is a religious situation is suicide!

How did other countries handle this kind of invasion? Well the Inquisition comes to mind. Spain and France had declared themselves as Catholic Nations and went about burning infidels by the thousands! I don't like that idea at all! The problem was they didn't do their research to determine who was a pagan, infidel, or protestant! They burned them all! This is not what I am asking to be done.

We have the technology to follow every non-citizen who enters our country. Their original country source, why they are visiting or immigrating to America, how long will they stay and exactly where they are going, and last but not least do they have a criminal history in any other country.

We have Interpol connected to our Federal crime organizations. Are they connected or turned on? Does anyone in Washington DC give a damn? We should be able to trace the entry and exit information of everyone who is not an American citizen.

Since September 11, it should be the first priority of our Federal agencies including the border patrol to flag every single Arab/Muslim entering and exiting America! Is this fair? Will many innocent Arabs/Muslims be forced to fill out information on why they want to enter America? Probably! Will it upset them? Certainly! Should we still demand that it be done? Absolutely!

Will this cost taxpayers millions of dollars? Oh yes! Many of us feel it is too late and the terrorist damages have been ongoing for 40 years starting with our University curriculums. We also have millions of American families who do not understand the laws of America and have never read or understood the Constitution. Without our concrete laws being the foundation of our lives, we are as lost as the Cubans who are still trying to find the freedom in their homeland.

So do we give in and give up? Do we try to ignore the necessary actions that will save our lives and instead battling it out on social issues? Is there anyone who can bring the focus of American protection to the forefront of the discussions? I thought President Bush would do it but he has back slipped into writing bills to make the unborn citizens! Our Attorney General worries about being video taped in front of a large marble breast and made a big deal about the need to spend $8000 to cover the offending breast!

Our government is starting to look like a Monty Python skit! It is time to cut the crap and face the facts that we could be heading for another batch of terrorist attacks that could bring down many of our major cities. The first line of defense should be our Immigration and Naturalization Services working in conjunction with the CIA and FBI! Bring the data up to date on all immigrants and profile everyone who looks, acts, and has a history of Muslim activities.

At this time I would love to discuss this with Louis Farrakhan who is the leader of the Muslims in America. He doesn't hesitate to ask that all Americans march on Washington DC for several reasons, and it is time to ask him to step up for the good Muslims who are peace loving groups of good Americans and have them show their love for this country. If they cannot, then profile every damn one of them!
