Stop the Trans Texas Corridor Treachery, Memorial Day 2007, by CorridorWatch.org

Everybody:

The last day of the Legislative Session is Memorial Day, a holiday
for many people. David and I had decided to go, sit in the House and
Senate Galleries, walk the halls, and visit Legislators, just to let
them know that win, lose or draw, we are here and we are not going
away. Then we thought how great it would be if there were hundreds
of grassroots anti-corridor/toll people everywhere!

Right now we don't know what ultimate effect of this session is going
to be on the corridor/toll issue....but it can't ever hurt to be seen
at the Capitol wearing our Stop the TTC stickers.....

So I am sending you this email so that you can circulate this
information to your email lists, if you desire, and you can join us.
CorridorWatch will put out a bulletin, but I wanted to let you all
know early.

We thought it would help people if they had some specific locations
they could find each other, get their stickers, and hangout. This
isn't a rally, and we can't use the steps, but we can sure make an
impression. Who knows, we might even take a peaceful stroll around
the block and wave at Rick! So please spread the word, forward this
email, share it with your lists, post it on your blog.....! Let's
fill the halls!
The House will convene sometime in the morning Monday (to be
announced the previous day), and intends to be in session until 10:00pm.

Hook-up with us at these places and times:

Meeting Times and Places:

11:00 am Rotunda (1st Floor)
1:00 pm Capital Grill (Capitol Extension E1 Floor)
3:00 pm House Gallery (3rd Floor, West)
5:00 pm Rotunda (1st Floor)

We expect to arrive much earlier in the morning and stay much later
in the evening.

Thanks everybody!!!
