Another decent, if not necessarily spectacular, wine from a local watering hole. It’s worth ordering, if not too expensive.
The wine has a nice – if a trifle shallow or pale – ruby to violet color and a little structure to go along with it. You can certainly detect some strong blackberry notes with perhaps an under note of currents. It’s pleasantly dry with some bite from some tannins but not much owing to the age in the bottle, I hope. This gives the wine some good balance with a medium finish.
