Turning Leaf 2006 Chardonnay
Submitted by bob.bacchus on Thu, 2007-11-22 14:04.
It’s an another wine from the Gallo stable, this one a white. Good for sipping but perhaps not for dinner. This wine has a bright, clear, pale straw-yellow color with little to no structure to the wine. There are some fruit notes to this wine, if somewhat muted. My best guess for a note to this wine would be fruit salad as nothing really stands out. Low acidity and astringency gives this wine a rather pleasing moderate sweetness. There’s not a lot of citric to this wine making it an appealing sipping wine but less of a dinner wine. There are no off notes to the wine.
