Where Was the GOP on November 7th?

I just received a plea for money from a news site. It seems that they just discovered a fraudulent voter problem in Florida. They tell of the fiasco that was going on in their State on Tuesday November 7th.

They should have focused on the election of 1996 in their state where the same damn thing happened. Let's see, it was very apparent that Chicago had a graveyard full of democrats voting for JFK in 1960. A graveyard in Texas managed to write in their absentee votes in 1964 for LBJ. Every four years more illegal ballots are counted and the public just sits around and does nothing!

The Republican Party must know about this, I do, millions of others know it, but apparently the GOP has no clue. So now we have the election of 2000 and again a fraudulent vote is being argued about and where are the leaders of the GOP? Oh, yes showing good taste and sitting it out.

The time for action was 6 months ago. Every single county in America should have had a Republican group working on improving the election system in their area. Where were they?

If the GOP has learned anything in the last 40 years, it should have been that Democrats would cheat and bring in absentee voters from anywhere dead or alive. Have they addressed this public ally? Have they made any attempt to correct it? NO!

Now, after the fact, we are being asked to donate money to fight the results of the election. I would rather spend the money dumping Jim Nicholson out of the Republican National Committee. His leadership has been terrible. His lack of support for Lazio, Campbell and Franks should be enough to send him packing. What action has he even considered to clean up the votes in the 50 states? He doesn't think like that. I have followed this man's leadership since he took over from Barbor (who was no prize).

No, I will send not one dime to help this weak-kneed group of Republicans who never stood up to the corruption that has been with the voters for all these years. No wonder people don't vote. We all know now that our votes are being cancelled out by aliens and dead people. Is there not one Republican out here in America who didn't see what was happening on Election Day? What could be more important than guaranteeing an honest count of proper ballots?

I guess I was hoping a congressman or senator would stand up and request that all election officials take special care to ensure that the 2000 election would be a firm and honest one. Well, folks it didn't happen and it won't happen.

Our elections are bogus! Unless the GOP can develop some balls and declare their intention of seeing that their states are going to vote by the laws of that state then we have no choice but give it to the Federal Government. When that happens I will tear up my registration form forever!!

The lesson I learned on November 7th was that I will never cast my vote again!
