Why America needs immigration amnesty

Talk show haranguer Sean Hannity was shocked, shocked that Republicans betrayed their conservative base by joining the Democrats in voting for an immigration bill that included amnesty.

What Hannity and his hangers-on don't get is Yes! Of course! The immigration bill concocted in smoke-filled parlors by the powercrats of the two mainstream Polecat Parties was not an immigration bill at all. It was specifically an amnesty bill. Both BigGov Democrats and BigGov Republicans know full well that the only way to save their mutually cherished authoritarian socialist welfare state is to keep the taxpaying base of the ponzi pyramid bigger than the tax-eating top. They didn't want to fashion a fast-track citizenship program for illegal immigrants out of "fairness" after all; they desperately needed to conscript as many bodies as possible into the legally sanctioned aboveground workforce where their fleecy tax coats could be sheered at will.

Hannity denies he's a Republican Party pimp by calling himself a "Reagan Conservative" who believes in individual liberty and capitalism, but anything remotely resembling that definition of "Republican" died and decomposed decades ago, which is why the few remaining Old-Right conservative laissez-faire capitalists come sniffing around the libertarians looking for a new home, as well they should.

Today's Rightwing BigGov Neocon Authoritarian Republican Party is just a big-taxing big-spending clone of the Democrat Party. Every taxable torso is needed to keep the welfare/warfare system alive and well in the Demo and Repubo world of Biggie-Sized Globalized Manifest Destiny American Empire.

It's all the fault of those selfish Baby Boomers; they didn't keep the birthrate up.

The Boomer Brigade didn't replicate itself. They didn't have babies in equal or greater numbers to their own. Which means, who is going to pop for their SS checks and their Medicare payments and their prescription drug entitlements and all those other wonderful taxpayer-paid middleclass subsidies that they think is theirs by the mere fact of having survived into elderhood?

Those twelve million undocumented aliens everyone is obsessing about. Where conservatives see deportable lawbreakers, party powercrats see tax fodder. You can almost see their lips salivating.

So it was "conservatives," not "Republicans," who killed the immigration bill due to its amnesty provisions because those out-of-touch conservatives just never got the real point of the bill. Ruling class Republicans were and are just as desperate as ruling class Democrats to develop new sources of pelf for their mutually revered visions of empire. Once the public's focus shifts elsewhere, towards a newly manufactured crisis no doubt, a new bill to support socialist America on the backs of legalized Mexicans will sneak through congress.

It's a simple law of plunder: If you can't keep your tax cupboard stocked with birthrate, stuff it full of immigrants. Legal, illegal, it doesn't matter. You just have to find an easy way into their pockets. Legal aliens are easier to pluck than illegals.

The libertarian solution, thoroughly scorned by the power-addicted, is privatization of all welfare. Free and responsible people sans government coercion face a simple decision: do we birth bounteous bouncing babes to grow up and support us in our geezerhood, or do we spawn only none or one and finance our own retirement, thus letting future generations off the hook? In today's USSA nobody need think of either alternative because a magical Cinderella fairy godmother called "Government" will take care of everything.

How many of the Great Unwashed actually comprehend that BigGov Godmother has nothing until she extorts it from someone who has something? When the Social Security Scam began forty wage earners supported one Senior Recipient, thereby employing the age-old ploy of spreading the pain and keeping insipient rebellion at the muted muttering level. Now it enslaves 3.4 young hardworking able-bodied workplace toilers for every over-the-hill recliner inhabitant.

Since patricians of both parties are loath to relinquish even a pittance of their coveted power, their only choices are increasing taxes or cutting benefits. Every politicalcrat with an aging constituency will demand ever more taxes to bolster ever-increasing benefits, while polecats in districts heavily populated by young working taxpayers must demand tax cuts or face losing reelection bids.

This means economic civil war, pitting oldsters against youngsters everywhere in the country.

The radioland Hannityoid conservatives still don't get it. They still think it's all about illegal immigration. Maybe someday Hannity will see through the Neocon con, reject the Republicans and join the libertarians. But then, there would be no elected polecats for him to slobber over and rub egos with.
