Rosemount Estate 2004 Riesling South Eastern Australia

Not my expectation of a Riesling and I dare say probably not yours either. It has some decided problems and honestly, you could do better with just about anything else. Try some Schmitt-Sohne. It's more expensive, but it got a much better grade.

Barefoot Zinfandel California

I can think of no known female creature you would wish to bed that would drink this. If you try to serve this to the boys, expect a knife in the back.

Bocce 2005 Red Zinfandel California

I tried this wine while whiling away the hours at a local Austin watering hole, during their happy hour of course. While price was right, ($3 a glass) I kind of wish I had chosen something else.

Black Swan 2006 Chardonnay Australia

In a word, lousy! Try Hayes Ranch, Coppola Gold Label, Kendall Jackson or Dynamite for a chardonnay, or their Shiraz-Cabernet, which is much better.

Luna di Luna 2005 Chardonnay-Pinot Grigio Italy

A blended wine from Italy. Blended? More like cycled through a Cuisinart? Something got lost in translation

Waring Professional Series 300 Wine Chiller

The product seems to work as advertised, and might have garnered a higher grade save for one glaring defect that I’m surprised got past the design guys. Good as a gift for the wine lover who happens to be hearing impaired. If you are looking for a wine chiller you might want to keep looking.

Luna di Luna 2005 Chardonnay Italy

A blended wine in a cute blue bottle from Italy. Blended? More like cycled through a Cuisinart. Something got lost in translation with this one.

Carignan Very Old Vines 2003 Vin de Pays de L'aude France

Damn the French! I expected something better than this (Grade: D). Perhaps this was the dregs from a batch they decided to bottle and ship to us unsophisticated Americans. Little do they know. I’ll be taking Silenus’ advice: deglaze a pan with it.

Christian Moueix 2003 Merlot Bordeaux France

Wow. What a bad wine! Consider Thunderbird!
