It’s a clandestine review at upscale local watering hole. Surprisingly, it tastes more expensive than it is.
It has a clear, bright medium garnet color with some depth to it. There are some definite berry notes that follow through onto the palette. It’s a moderately dry wine with a good balance and a medium finish. The wine is not too acidic and has no off notes. The tannins being somewhat softer than other Cabs I’ve tried. And consider decanting or letting this wine breath 15 minutes before consuming. It really seems to help this wine.
Let it breath for an hour, and you have a first class gossamer wing de frocker. She will enjoy the taste and you will enjoy her. You won't need to server salty finger foods to hasten the process.
