Just in time for Christmas, a wine for the holidays and maybe the New Year. It’s one of several varieties from these folks. Sadly, it’s only so-so as wine goes.
This wine has a bright, clear, pale straw-yellow color with little to no structure to the wine. There are some nondescript notes to this wine, similar to Turning Leaf that while define characterization, isn’t unpleasant. It’s perhaps a little sweeter than Turning Leaf but less sweet than say a Beringer White Zin. There is some low acidity and astringency gives this wine a rather pleasing moderate sweetness. There’s not a lot of citric to this wine making it an appealing sipping wine but less of a dinner wine. There are no off notes to the wine.
Bitter, like the woman you should serve it to.
