The McManis is a McMiss, in a big way. It’s another in a series of lousy white McWines. I'm not sure you'd want to even serve it with dinner.
It’s a clear, bright, if light, straw-yellow color. There are some off-notes to this wine. Mostly I detect a decidedly pungent wet wool or dog aroma with a taste to match. Any underlying taste or aroma is masked by this rather overpowering aroma. There isn’t much more to like about this wine. Its basic aroma and structure are flawed enough to not even report on balance or finish. There is some moderate sweetness and acidity, but not much else. I doubt most people would be interested in finishing a glass, let alone the bottle.
