At some point, people who called themselves Liberals from the time America was hatched (individualism and self sovereignty were very liberal ideas) came to realize that they couldn't call themselves Liberals any longer because that name had been stolen by American Socialists, Socialism being the exact opposite of what Liberal originally stood for.

So some former Liberals began calling themselves Classical Liberals, sort of like trying to distinguish between Classic Coke and New Coke. This didn't work well since Classical Liberal sounds like Socialists who listen to Brahms. So some former Liberals began calling themselves Conservatives.

The dangers inherent in the foreign policy advocated by the neo-conservatives are well known. While many Americans have become increasingly aware of those dangers, far less attention has been focused on the dangers of neo-conservative economic policies. This issue is of critical importance right now, because many are mistakenly pointing their fingers at the free market as the culprit behind our current economic plight.

There are only a few in elected office who have any real loyalty to free markets and limited government. The agenda of neo-conservatives in the economy calls for a very active central government. Indeed, while there are some neo-conservatives who continue to use the rhetoric of limited government, and who oppose increases in the federal income tax as a way to maintain the political benefits that apply to those who talk about free markets, it is now the neo-conservatives who promote fiat monetary policies even more than those on the liberal left.

But the absolute worst part of all this is that no matter what the lowly citizens of this country think about egging Iran into what some are already calling WWIII, (or being complicit in Israel egging them on) the power-hungry warmongering asshats in Washington will do what they want- from starting wars to funding what they themselves call rogue nations- will continue to do so because the very same lowly citizens keep voting them into office

Please, I realize that Eric, Lindsay and Kate aren't famous or rich or well-connected but they embody every hope and dream that exists within every man, woman and child on this planet; and like kids everywhere- in the US, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Europe, Asia, Russia....everywhere, they deserve the chance to grow up and take their rightful place in the world.

The largest and most significant power for governance is the people. Government is best likened to the plunger you use to clear your toilet; it is just the tool used by the people to order their business. The people precede all government and possess absolutely the right to alter or change government as they deem necessary. When government gets uppity the people should remember who is in charge.

Most amusing concept ever? Here's a plea to the Arizona voters to Recall John McCain, which would be just down right funny, but... it might also give a phenomenal long shot chance for Dr. Ron Paul to be tapped for the Republican nomination for US President.

The Revolution is heating up and Senator John McCain now finds himself at war with his own party. In particular, the Ron Paul r3volution!
It is my idea to start a recall petition drive against McCain, within his home state of Arizona; as a RINO (republican in name only) McCain cannot, should not, and will not be the standard barer for the Republican Party.

Last month, the House amended the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to expand the government’s ability to monitor our private communications. This measure, if it becomes law, will result in more warrantless government surveillance of innocent American citizens.

Though some opponents claimed that the only controversial part of this legislation was its grant of immunity to telecommunications companies, there is much more to be wary of in the bill. In the House version, Title II, Section 801, extends immunity from prosecution of civil legal action to people and companies including any provider of an electronic communication service, any provider of a remote computing service, “any other communication service provider who has access to wire or electronic communications,” any “parent, subsidiary, affiliate, successor, or assignee” of such company, any “officer, employee, or agent” of any such company, and any “landlord, custodian, or other person who may be authorized or required to furnish assistance.” The Senate version goes even further by granting retroactive immunity to such entities that may have broken the law in the past.

This story broke this morning. You NEED to know and take action immediately. The Global Agenda for control has ratcheted up its agenda; it is now moving faster than we imagined possible. We need to get Mark Lerner to Washington D. C. immediately to speak for us. Congress has listened to Mark before, they will listen again, if he can get there.

Five years ago last week, the US military's "shock and awe" campaign lit up the Baghdad sky. Five years later, with hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and nearly four thousand Americans dead, we should pause and reflect on just what has been gained and what has been lost.

From the beginning, the march to war was paved with false assumptions and lies. Senior administration officials claimed repeatedly that Iraq was somehow responsible for the attacks of September 11, 2001. They claimed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. They manipulated the fear of the American people after 9/11 to further a war agenda that they had been planning years before that attack. The mainstream media was complicit in this war propaganda.

Mr Speaker, I rise in opposition to this latest attempt to undermine our personal liberties and violate the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution. This bill will allow the federal government to engage in the bulk collection of American citizens’ communications. In effect, it means that any American may have his electronic communications monitored without a search warrant.

As such, the bill clearly violates the Fourth Amendment

If you ignore the lessons of history the present will deliver a sharp smack down. If you are a part of the Ron Paul Revolution you need to know two things right now. First, what happened to the Libertarian Party. Second, that the Home Grown Terrorism Act is now active.

We need a whistle blower and we need them right now.
